Post Placement

Current Middle and High School students who were either placed in private schools at the middle school level, or graduated from Summer on the Hill in 8th grade, can take advantage of Post Placement services and programs. Right now, we have about 25 high school alum who are familiar faces here on the Hill, and participate in all activities!

Continuity, Community, Camaraderie

Besides the fun "family" feeling of continued involvment with your old friends on the Hill, our Post Placement services include:

• PSAT/SAT prep classes
• Review classes for various subjects
• Community Service events such as:
• Youth Services Opportunities Program
• Wave Hill Environmental Center
• Trips to John Dorr (A Nature Lab in CT)
• Upcoming series of 2 or 3 college counseling sessions
• Opportunities for alum to volunteer their time to support SOH staff with office work and functions.
• Represent the Program at official events.
• Regular refferals for:
• Jobs/internships
• Service work
• College scholarship information
• Academic/cultural enrichment opportunities throughout the city and occasionally in Westchester.
• Try out for our Mentoring Program, and you can help the next generation of SOH students!
