3. The National Child Labor Committee Recognizes John McIvor
In March 2009, Dr. John McIvor received a Distinguished Service/Lewis Hine Award from The National Child Labor Committee (NCLC), a private, non-profit organization founded in 1904. Dr. McIvor was cited for his “leadership in bettering the lives and well-being of young people,” and as an “example of how one individual can serve to improve the future of our youth.” To read The Riverdale Press article, click here.
